Pre-contract information and terms for online purchases from UHD Archive.

| Seller contact details | The full legal trade name, registered address, telephone number, and applicable registry or tax identifiers are stated in the order confirmation shown or provided to the Buyer before payment. |
| Buyer | The individual or organization whose name, contact details, and delivery address are submitted during checkout. |
The order-specific confirmation and this agreement form a single distance sales contract. The Buyer should save the confirmation and this page on a durable medium.
2. Subject and pre-contract information
This agreement governs the online sale and delivery of the Pioneer optical drive selected by the Buyer. Before payment, the checkout and order confirmation identify the product model, quantity, principal characteristics, item price including applicable taxes, shipping charge, any selected prepaid import charge, total price, currency, payment method, delivery terms, and withdrawal information.
The Buyer confirms that they can review and correct the checkout information before proceeding and that placing the paid order creates a payment obligation.
3. Contract formation and payment
A quote request or pre-order list submission is not a paid order. The distance sales contract becomes binding when the Buyer reviews the final order information, accepts this agreement, and successfully confirms payment through the secure payment stage.
Eligible Visa and Mastercard cards may be accepted. Available card options are shown at payment. Card credentials entered on our payment form are sent directly to the payment provider and are never sent to or stored on our servers. If payment is not authorized, the order is not completed.
4. Delivery
The Seller will dispatch within the time stated in the order confirmation and, unless a different lawful period is expressly agreed, no later than 30 days after receiving the order. Delivery is made to the address submitted by the Buyer through the carrier and service shown before payment.
The Buyer is responsible for destination-country import taxes, duties, and clearance charges under both delivery options. For DDP delivery, the displayed total includes the quoted prepaid duties-and-taxes service. For DDU delivery, the Buyer or recipient pays charges requested by the carrier or customs authority. If the parcel is returned because the Buyer or recipient refuses or fails to pay those local charges, return shipping and non-recoverable carrier or customs costs will be deducted from the final refund, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. The Seller bears the risk of loss or damage until delivery to the Buyer or the Buyer’s designated recipient, except where the Buyer independently appoints a carrier not offered by the Seller.
5. Right of withdrawal
A consumer Buyer may request a return or exercise any applicable right of withdrawal within 14 days after receiving the product. The Buyer may also withdraw between contract formation and delivery where applicable. To exercise the right, the Buyer must send a clear statement through the contact form or to [email protected] before the period expires.
For a standard change-of-mind return, the drive must be unused and unmodified and returned with all accessories, documentation, and original packaging. The Buyer may inspect the product as reasonably necessary but may be responsible for diminished value caused by additional handling, use, alteration, damage, missing or changed serial or tamper labels, or incomplete packaging. These conditions do not restrict a mandatory statutory right to inspect or withdraw.
6. Refunds and return costs
The Buyer must contact the Seller and obtain the correct return address and instructions before shipping anything back. For a standard change-of-mind return, the Buyer is responsible for all tracked return shipping costs and the original shipping fee paid at checkout is non-refundable. If a package is returned because the Buyer or recipient refused or failed to pay local customs duties, taxes, or clearance charges, the return shipping cost and non-recoverable charges will be deducted from the final refund. These allocations apply except where the drive was defective or damaged on arrival or mandatory law requires otherwise.
Authorized international returns must follow the Seller’s packing and customs instructions, including an accurate “RETURNED GOODS - RELIEF CLAIMED” customs description and a truthful declaration of contents and value. Refunds are made through the original payment method within the period required by applicable law. Detailed practical instructions are available in the Delivery & Returns terms.
7. Product condition and conformity
The products are genuine new old stock and are individually tested. Original packaging may have aged, retail seals may be open for testing, protective film may show bubbles after inspection, and exposed chassis metal may have disclosed cosmetic storage marks. These characteristics do not exclude the Seller’s responsibility for conformity or the Buyer’s mandatory consumer remedies.
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, the Buyer should contact the Seller promptly. The Seller may require photos and, for a claimed functional defect, a short continuous video showing the connected drive failing to power on or read a known-good disc, with the serial number and all tamper-evident stickers visible in that same video. Once verified, the Seller will normally provide a full refund or replacement without requiring the defective or damaged drive to be returned. If a return is reasonably required, the Buyer will not be charged its necessary shipping cost. Repair, replacement, price reduction, cancellation, or refund remedies apply as required by law.
8. Complaints, governing law, and disputes
Questions and complaints may be sent through the contact form or to [email protected]. The Seller will try to resolve them directly and promptly.
This agreement is governed by the mandatory consumer law applicable to the transaction, including Türkiye’s Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and Distance Contracts Regulation where applicable. Consumers may apply to the competent Consumer Arbitration Committee or Consumer Court within the applicable monetary and territorial limits. Mandatory rights and forums available in the Buyer’s country of residence remain unaffected.
9. Records and effective date
Electronic order records, confirmations, correspondence, and transaction records may be used as evidence subject to mandatory law. This agreement takes effect for the specific order when the Buyer completes the paid order after receiving the required pre-contract information.
